D’Youville Alumni Association Board

The D’Youville Alumni Association Board is a dynamic group of engaged alumni who are passionate about strengthening connections, creating meaningful opportunities, and championing the continued success of the D’Youville community.

The Board’s purpose is simple: to connect, engage, and inspire alumni while supporting current students and the future of the University. Through collaboration with University leadership, Board members help shape alumni experiences, expand engagement opportunities, and foster lifelong relationships with D’Youville.

This is a working board—one that values ideas, energy, and action. Members play an active role in advancing alumni engagement and serving as a bridge between alumni, students, and the University.

Alumni Association Board Member Position Description

Members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors for D'Youville University serve a three-year term and may be eligible for reappointment for one additional consecutive term.

Board members are selected based on demonstrated interest, engagement, and commitment to the University and its alumni community. New members are elected by the Board of Directors at the May meeting.

By accepting appointment to the Board, members agree to actively fulfill the responsibilities associated with this leadership role, including but not limited to:

  • Attending and actively participating in all scheduled board meetings
  • Serving on at least one Alumni Board committee, as appointed by the Board President
  • Supporting and participating in alumni events and initiatives organized by the Alumni Association
