Where to Give

Fund for D'Youville

The Fund for D'Youville is one of the University's most powerful vehicles for giving. The flexibility of its immediate-use funds allows D'Youville to support the greatest needs of the University and to provide the greatest impact on students.

Gifts to the Fund for D'Youville support scholarships and financial aid, student enrichment programs, innovative academic programs, and much more. Support for the Fund for D'Youville fills the gap between what the University can provide through its endowment and the full cost of a D'Youville education. Annual support is also an important factor used by many ranking and funding agencies in determining which schools will receive grants and recognition.

For additional information on how you can support the institution through a Fund for D'Youville gift, contact Danielle Walenka, Director of Annual Giving at (716) 829-8115 or walenkad@dyu.edu.

Other Areas of Support

Athletics

Our Athletics department proudly supports our student-athletes who are not only successful on the court and field, but in the classroom as well. The D'Youville Saints proudly compete through 23 NCAA Division II athletic teams in the East Coast Conference.

The Athletics Fund supports all Saints by directing your gift to this fund!

Kavinoky Theatre

The Kavinoky Theatre has earned a reputation for consistently high-quality productions, and has received countless awards. Over the years, The Kavinoky Theatre has had a seminal influence on the growth of live theatre in Buffalo. Most of the leading area actors had their start at The Kavinoky, as did many of the Artistic Directors. When we began we were alone; there are now over thirty producing organizations in town and we are proud to have paved the way for Buffalo's thriving theatre community.

Donating to the Kavinoky Gift Fund, supports the historic Kavinoky Theatre. The "Take a Seat" allows you to become a permanent part of the Kavinoky Theatre! By naming a brand new seat at the Kavinoky Theatre, you can honor someone special, remember a loved one, or promote your business in a unique and lasting way. Your tax deductible contribution will allow the theatre to continue to promote the arts in Buffalo through its diverse collection of plays and musicals. Your donation will produce an engraved plate with your honoree's name on it, which will be placed on the arm of the seat for future generations to see.

Scholarships

Scholarships allow deserving students to meet their educational goals. By creating scholarships, you can make a lasting difference by helping our D'youville students.

  • General Endowed Scholarship Fund (any amount)
  • Named Endowed Scholarships (50k over 5yrs)
  • Non-Endowed Awards (25k over 5, money in/out)
Student Experience

The Student Experience is designed around the most important thing here — our students. Ours is a community that lives and learns outside of the classroom, around the city, and even across the globe. Students find unique experiences to meet people, build community, and experience events designed to take learning further. And our most popular events, clubs, or groups? They're the ones our students bring to the campus and build with our student support teams.
